Online Counselling

Admission counselling system provides interface for distributed allotment of seats for admissions in various programs, courses and categories based on client organizations admission policy & guidelines.

Due to COVID-19 situation coupled with central and state government guidelines and policies in each state, it has become more and more challenging to conduct physical counselling. As an effort towards facilitating candidates at a time when social distancing is advised, AIMA has introduced ‘e-Counselling’ which is conducted in hybrid model which involves the following platforms:

  1. Development of Customised Online Software / Utility to meet specific Requirement
  2. Use of licensed version of Standard Digital Platform of Digital Meetings

The e-Counselling system is web-based system, which can be accessed from anywhere over an Internet. The system provides interfaces for candidate registration, document verification, payment verification, seat allotment strictly based on merit sequence, and requisite report generation, following all the policy guidelines prescribed by client organizations. The system shows available seat status in real time to bring utmost transparency in the allotment process. The system has the provision of receipt of online payments and communicate with candidates through mails and SMS.

The complete counselling process consists of following eight steps:

  1. Online Registration.
  2. Uploading of documents and online receipt of fees thru online Payment gateway integration.
  3. Attendance
  4. Document and Payment Verification
  5. Payment Update
  6. Interaction with candidates in their order of rank thru digital meeting platform i.e. virtual meeting.
  7. Generate Seat Allotment Request for the candidates eligible for counselling in their order of Common Merit Rank
  8. Approval of Seat Allotment Request by authorized official.
  9. Online Print of Seat Allotment Letter
