About Conference Previous Event
AIMA- the apex body for management in India, is a non-profit organization committed to advancing the management profession within the country. Over the years, AIMA has been instrumental in organizing an annual US-India Conference, a collaborative effort with the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Consulate General of India in San Francisco. This conference serves as a platform for industry leaders and thought influencers from both India and the US to converge and exchange ideas.
With the inaugural Conference held in San Francisco in 2016, AIMA has successfully hosted five editions in partnership with the University of California, Berkeley, at its Berkeley campus and sixth edition with the University of California, at the UC Santa Cruz Silicon Valley Campus in Santa Clara, California, US. These conferences have attracted prominent business and thought leaders from India and the US, uniting them to deliberate on strategies for enhancing cooperation between the two nations.
The AIMA US-India Conference provides an ideal forum to address the challenges and demands of a rapidly evolving business landscape The key focus and agenda has been to explore ways of leveraging mutual strengths and capitalizing on shared opportunities. In today’s ever-evolving business landscape, India and the US need each other more than ever in the emerging world order; considering ongoing political, economic, and technological transformations. The conferences have become even more significant as economic and strategic collaborations between the two countries become increasingly important.
AIMA has received support from various influential entities, including the Consulate General of India in San Francisco, California; the Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation, UC Berkeley; Institute for South Asia Studies, UC Berkeley; the Bay Area Council and the India Community Center for the conduct and organisation of these annual Conferences.
