AIMA has been organising its unique Global Advanced Management Programme since 2010 with the aim to give exposure to Innovations happening in the hotspots across the world.
So far 17 editions have been held across the Silicon Valley, USA, Beijing and Shanghai in China and in Israel.
The 18th edition of AIMA’s Global Advanced Management Programme (GAMP) will be held in the Silicon Valley, USA, from June 25 – July 01, 2023; led by Prof. Solomon Darwin, Executive Director, Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation, Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic posed great challenges to the business leaders and the global disruption of the past couple of years has changed business and business leadership. There is a great urgency amongst business leaders to revisit their strategies and realign their business models as per the new normal in order to keep up with frequent change and navigate radical uncertainty.
The programme will focus on the way forward following the pandemic under the theme ‘Reviving Growth Through Open Innovation Strategies’.
GAMP is designed to help business leaders get insights into the emerging trends/business models and will focus on open innovation strategies that will help deal with the current VUCA environment also prepare for future scenarios. The format of the programme includes Case Discussions, Presentations, Executive Panels and visits to and interaction with the top management teams of some of the most innovative companies and institutions in US Silicon Valley. Some companies visited in the past include NVidia, Chevron, Paypal, Standard Chartered Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, PG&E, DuPont Innovation Center, Calpine Corporation, Cisco Systems, Wipro, IBM Almaden Research, Plug & Play Innovation Center, Fujitsu Laboratories, Berkeley SkyDeck, UC Berkeley Campus amongst others.
