Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' to address AIMA's 25th Convocation

All India Management Association (AIMA) will hold its 25th Convocation on 20 August 2020. Minister of Education, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will deliver the convocation address.

The keynote address of the convocation will be delivered by Dr Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE.

AIMA will organize its silver jubilee 25th Convocation virtually this year

Over 1500 students will graduate with diplomas and certificates at this Convocation which will also be attended by many vice chancellors and directors of eminent universities and management institutes and many CEOs of India’s leading companies.

In addition to the presentation of degrees, diplomas and certificates to AIMA’s graduates, the participants can look forward to views of the Minister of Education on the recently announced New Education Policy (NEP) and the future roadmap for management education in India.

AIMA has welcomed the NEP and affirmed that the revolutionary new policy meets many of the long-standing needs of the higher education sector. “The NEP was long overdue and it is exactly what India needs,” says Ms Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA.

Mr Sanjay Kirloskar, President, AIMA and Chairman and Managing Director, Kirloskar Brothers, will confer the degrees, diplomas and certificates on AIMA students. Mr Harsh Pati Singhania, Senior Vice President, AIMA and Vice Chairman and Managing Director, JK Paper will also address the convocation.

Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Chairman Board of Studies, AIMA and Director, IIM Tiruchirappalli will present a report on AIMA’s education and research initiatives.

The virtual convocation will involve presentation of 17 PhDs in Business Administration and 603 Post-Graduate Diplomas in Management (PGDM). In addition, AIMA will present credentials to its students of Post-Graduate Diploma in IT Management, Post-Graduate Certificate in Management and the various short-term diplomas and certificate courses. Altogether, nearly 1,560 AIMA students will received their qualifications during the convocation.

The convocation will be broadcast on all AIMA social media channels.
