About the Conference
Drawn from UN International Women's Day Social Media Campaign Theme 2021 - "Choose to Challenge", Pragati 2021 aims to be a congregation of the young women professionals to challenge themselves, to develop and rise. The two day program aims to share Best Practices in the New Workplace in the spirit of competition and also host a National All-women Quiz.
The conference is designed as a Mentoring Program with an attempt at 'Polishing the Diamonds' and "Tapping the Strength within".

Session 1 - Inspiration : Learnings through Experiences

The speakers which hail from different fields and vintage will share inspiring experiences of navigating adversity and turning disruptions that they faced into opportunities. As they share their Success Stories, we are reminded of the need to build Agility, Resilience and Purpose driven Focus within ourselves, to survive and thrive.

Session 2 - Empower Yourself : Be Your Best Version

As we leverage accelerated learnings through the Pandemic, whether it is work from home and balance personal and professional lives or using digital technology to the optimum, or indeed adopting changed work styles, we recognize the need to develop the Entrepreneur within and build strength through collaboration. All this and more to challenge ourselves towards being our own Role Model.

The New Workplace - Best Practices
Many of us have experienced firsthand a changing workplace with different ways of working, determined by new guidelines. Some of these have worked and some have been experimented with, and dropped. Organizations have their own way of measuring what is working and what is not. A best practice is deemed such if it works well for the employees, and also motivates them to perform productively at work, though their workplace is their home, or office. Do share with us the Best Practices adopted by your company in the last one year of working. It could be:

  • New Technology deployed to ensure effective working.
  • New Policy adopted to bring about ease of working.
  • Any aspect of communication put into practice your organization considered as a best practice.
  • Any area of functioning in your organization that has they have 'Chosen to Challenge’.
  • Any sub function of Human Resources, Supply Chain, Business Model, Sales, Marketing or others, accepted as new thinking and is working.
  • Any best practice in the area of Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Do provide examples and data to support the Best Practice that you present.

Competition Format:

  • Last date of case study submission is 30th June 2021
  • The presentation will be made online
  • Jury presentation to be made by nominating team(s) on 2nd / 3rd July (At least one female participant is mandatory)
  • Top 3 teams would be announced on 9th July 2021
  • Awards and certificates for winning cases

Women's Quiz (Quiz Master - Ajay Poonia)

The Women-only segment would have a mix of past and present in all fields of business, history, science, sports and current affairs.

  • The team will be of 2 members (only female)
  • The Quiz will be conducted online on 8th July and 9th July 2021
