Programme Overview
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has ushered in a transformative vision for Indian higher education. It calls for dynamic leadership, strategic institutional transformation and forward-looking academic governance.
This Leadership Development Programme is specially curated for Vice Chancellors of universities, empowering them to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities in academic leadership and university administration.
The 3-day residential programme brings together India's top academic leaders and select international experts to create an immersive and engaging learning experience.
Sessions will be delivered by a distinguished panel of Vice Chancellors, senior policymakers, international education experts and former heads of institutions with rich experience in academic administration in India and abroad.

The Association of Indian Universities (AIU), established in 1925 and renamed in 1973, is the apex representative body of Indian universities and higher education institutions. With 1055 Indian members and 19 international associate members, AIU has the largest university network globally after the Association of Commonwealth Universities. It includes all university types-central, state, private, deemed, open, and institutions of national importance. AIU serves as a research-based policy advisory body to the Ministry of Education and acts as a think tank, promoting Indian higher education globally through policy advocacy, capacity building, international collaboration, and support for academics, research, sports, and culture.
