Background and Objective of the Training

In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, contracts are no longer merely legal documents; they are strategic instruments that drive organizational performance, create value, allocate risk, and foster accountability across the supply chain. As organizations navigate increasing regulatory scrutiny, technological disruption, and complex commercial relationships, effective contract management has become a critical determinant of operational and financial success.

A well-managed contract can enhance value realization, strengthen supplier and partner relationships, improve compliance, support better decision-making, and reduce the likelihood of disputes and project failures. Therefore, organizations are increasingly recognizing contract management as a strategic capability rather than an administrative function.

This programme, offered by AIMA with technical support of the World Bank, New Development Bank (NDB) and Asian Infrastructure & Investment Bank (AIIB), equips professionals with practical insights, global best practices, and contemporary tools to strengthen contract governance, manage risks, optimize commercial outcomes, and maximize value across the contract lifecycle.
