AIMA and Dr K S Basu Memorial Foundation have come together to organise the Annual Lectures – AIMA-Dr K S Basu Annual Memorial Lecture – which will be organised each year on 8th February (the birth date of Dr K S Basu, who was also a Past President of AIMA).

The Inaugural Session was conducted with Mohan Das Pai as the Keynote speaker, on 8th February, 2022 on the topic “Managing in the Digital World”. The session was conducted virtually on zoom and was attended by over 1500 participants via zoom and other AIMA social media channels.

We are further delighted to inform you that Mr Shiv Shivakumar, Past President, AIMA and Formerly Group Executive President - Strategy and Business Development, Aditya Birla Group, will deliver the second Lecture on 8th February 2023 from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm via Zoom.

The theme for the lecture is “Leadership In The Knowledge Economy”.

Mr Shrinivas V Dempo, President AIMA and Chairman, Dempo Group of Companies, will moderate the lecture.

The Dr. K.S. Basu Trust was set up to honour the contributions of Dr. Kalyan Sundar Basu, one of the early pioneers of management education in India, and the first Director of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
