AIMA and Dr K S Basu Memorial Foundation have come together to organise the Annual Lectures – AIMA-Dr K S Basu Annual Memorial Lecture to honour the contributions of Dr. Kalyan Sundar Basu, one of the early pioneers of management education in India, and the first Director of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and a Past President of AIMA.

We are pleased to invite you to the Fifth AIMA-Dr K S Basu Annual Memorial Lecture with Mr Sunil Kant Munjal, Past President, AIMA and Chairman, Hero Enterprise on Friday 6^th February 2026 from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

The theme for the lecture is “The End of Predictive Management”.

Why Foresight, Optionality, and Resilience Matter More Than Forecasts. Explores the shift from planning and optimisation to adaptability, buffers, and intelligent slack—redefining what “good management” means under uncertainty.

Mr Vishal Kampani, Senior Vice President AIMA, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, JM Financial Limited, will moderate the lecture.
