AIMA organized its 8th HR Leadership Retreat with the theme “HR innovations in the Age of Disruption” scheduled from 30 August – 01 September, 2019 at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa.
The Retreat was chaired by Mr. Pramod Bhasin, Founder, Genpact and Chairman, Clix Capital.
The retreat was designed to learn from the experiences of successful leaders and organizations on the challenges being faced by HR in the new business landscape and the ways to modernize HR for a strategic role in business growth. HR function is under pressure to keep up with disruptive changes in technology, business models and talent market. The kind of skills needed by enterprises are changing and the market for talent is going digital. The workplace is now shared by people and autonomous machines and focus is more on disruptive creativity than on steady operations. There is an urgent need for a radical reinvention of HR’s tools and methods and to think afresh about of employee hiring, training, evaluation and engagement. The programme included sessions with experts on developing a range of new HR competencies including automation of HR processes, data analytics and use of artificial intelligence in employee acquisition, development and engagement.
