Overview

Business responsibility is now at center stage, shifting the corporate focus from maximizing shareholder value to building stakeholder trust by protecting people, society, and the environment. Recognizing that "doing good is good for business," companies are leveraging CSR to make a positive impact and strengthen their brand image.

To honor this work, AIMA is pleased to announce its 13th Business Responsibility Summit and CSR Project Excellence Contest & Recognition, chaired by Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee. The event will showcase and award outstanding CSR initiatives by corporates (both public and private sector) and their Implementing Partners, providing a platform to celebrate work that builds a better country and planet.

THE CSR PROJECT EXCELLENCE CONTEST

The CSR Project Excellence Contest is an online platform where individual organisations get the opportunity to learn and compete against teams from other participating organizations, helping showcase the best CSR projects. It is a national platform for companies and implementing agencies to present credible, measurable, and sustainable CSR projects.

The CSR Project Excellence Contest will have India's leading CSR initiatives participating in two categories:

  • Corporates (PSUs & Private Sector)
  • Implementing Partners / Agencies

GUIDELINES & RULES AT A GLANCE

  • CSR Project Value should be at least INR 20 Lakhs or more
  • Duration of project being submitted should not be below 6 months, with at least one comprehensive report submitted
  • An organisation can nominate or participate with multiple CSR projects in their category
  • Each CSR Project will be submitted and judged individually by an eminent jury
  • Submission of Registration and Consent Form: Interested organizations should submit the duly filled Registration and Consent Form to AIMA at dsharma@aima.in by 25th August or earlier to confirm participation
  • Submission of PPT and Participation Fee: The PPT entry is to be sent via email along with the participation fee to AIMA latest by 31st August
  • Participation at the Jury Presentation Round:
    • The project presentations will be made through video conferencing as per the presentation slot provided to the respective participating organisations
    • The presenters are expected to prepare a PPT as per CSR Case Study Project Guidelines (Template) and explain the key features of the project and its overall impact
  • Recognition and Presentations at the Summit: Top teams in both categories will present their case study and get recognized at the 13th Business Responsibility Summit scheduled to be held on 10–11 September at AIMA, New Delhi

KEY DATES

  • Last Date for submission of filled in Registration Form to confirm participation – 25th Aug 2026
  • Last date for submission of CSR Case Study PPT and Participation Fee – 31st Aug 2026
  • Presentation of the shortlisted cases to the Jury – 3rd or 4th Sept 2026 (will be informed)
  • 13th Business Responsibility Summit and Project Excellence Contest and Recognition – 10–11 Sept 2026

EVALUATION PARAMETERS

The project entry would be evaluated on the basis of the below criteria. Initial shortlisting of the entries will be based on the PPT submitted by the organisation.

Top teams of the CSR Project Excellence Contest will get to attend the Summit on a complimentary basis.

GENERAL RULES

  • All decisions of AIMA in relation to the Project Excellence Contest shall be final and no queries or correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
  • AIMA reserves the right to refuse participation or to disqualify any team and/or participant from the contest at any time. All decisions taken by AIMA, including refusal of participation or disqualification, shall be final and binding on the participants.
  • AIMA reserves the right to shorten, modify, or cancel the contest at any time without assigning any reason. AIMA shall have no liability in such cases, and participants or teams shall not be entitled to make any claim against AIMA in this regard.
