Dr Lakshmi Venu is the Vice Chairman of TAFE - Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, India's second-largest manufacturer of tractors and agricultural equipment, with products marketed under the Massey Ferguson in India and Eicher brands. She is also the Managing Director of TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (TMTL), a part of the TAFE group.
She also serves as a Managing Director of Sundaram-Clayton Limited, a leading automotive component manufacturer in India, and holds directorships on the boards of several other companies.
Dr Venu holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Yale University and a Doctorate in Engineering Management from the University of Warwick, UK.
