Madhav Sharma is a business executive with over 30 years of experience across India, China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, ASEAN, and the U.A.E in the areas of Public Affairs, Travel and Tourism, Training and Development and Talent Acquisition.

He contributed significantly to initiatives that led to building closer economic engagement between the EU, ASEAN and the FAR East with India through initiatives such as the Indo-British Partnership Initiative, the India-Australia Council, and the Indo-French Business Forum that led to greater industry collaborations and partnerships between companies. He had the opportunity to have observer status on the China Development Forum (CDF) and the International Business Advisory Council (IBLAC) to the Mayor of Shanghai, which supported his work to serve the Indian Industry. He was a Member of the India-ASEAN Study Group set up by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) in Singapore in 2004, which took various initiatives that helped build sustainable business engagement between India and ASEAN.

He has worked in organisations such as Confederation of Indian Industry, Jet Airways, NIIT (China) Ltd, and startup where he led multiple commercial and business improvement initiatives with to drive significant enhancements in top-line and bottom-line performance.

In his free time, he likes to attend lectures,  play tennis, read, run & meet people from different cultures and interests to expand his knowledge. He is a keen China watcher.
