Forth in the series , All India Management Association (AIMA), organized training program on “Behavioural Skills for Executive Assistants / Secretaries’ at The Ambassador Hotel ,V.N Road, Churchgate (West), Mumbai – 400 020 held on 20-21 October 2016. Under this training initiative of AIMA in last 12 months 63 organizations participated and 105 participants were benefited.

This training programme is for administrative professionals, including Executive Assistants, Office Secretary and Executive PA, Secretaries or other members of the administrative support staff who need to expand their skills so they can better support their manager/s and organization. Participants’ profile of the training is EA to MD, EA to the President ,EA to Vice-Chairman ,EA to VP-HR & COO, Executive Assistant to CEO & MD, Executive Assistant to Director Finance ,EA to CFO, Secretary to General Manager etc.

This training is now endorsed by NOCN, a leading UK Awarding organization and the participants received certificate awarded by AIMA and endorsed by NOCN, UK.

The training held in Mumbai was attended by 26 participants from 19 organizations. The participants were from places including Assam, Bangalore, Indore , New Delhi and Mumbai.

This comprehensive training provided a wide range of skills to help participants handle any work challenge with greater confidence and effectiveness. The participants learnt how to communicate confidently and assertively, develop and use power and authority.

Experiential learning was used as a training methodology, which motivated the participants intrinsically. The participants have acquired a wealth of information from their own experiences which enriched learning environment. The trainer of the programme was Ms Nasreen Khan. Mr Barttanu Kumar Das, Head – Human Resources, Blue Dart Express Ltd. was invited as the guest speaker to share his experience during the valedictory session.

The participants were appreciative of the training content and the impact it made on them.
