Some people have an instinctive sense of good social skills or people skills, but others can surely learn and develop these skills. People skills are set of essential behavioural skills for all professionals in order to ensure smooth functioning of an organization.Effective People Skills become a key to success for team leaders and executives managing small or big group of people. For projects, sales, marketing and customer service executives it is a must have skill.People Skills are patterns of behaviour and behaviouralinteractions, among people.

This two-day training on People Skills will focus on Interpersonal and Communication, Team Management, Conflict Management Skills and a Capability of Creating Culture of Collaboration.

The training provides an in-depth perspective on your people skills by first assessing your own personality, strengths and weakness and how you perceive people who work with you. It would start with your intrapersonal skills to facilitate changes and improvements that can help enhance your inter personal skills.

This would be used in team building skills, dealing with difficult people, dealing with intra group and inter group conflicts; identifying strategies to create a collaborative atmosphere at the work place.

  • Identify your strengths and areas for improvement using psychometric instruments as regards people skills.
  • Assess your interpersonal effectiveness using Johari Window
  • Develop a personal plan to improve inter personal effectiveness
  • Plan strategic changes in your communication style
  • Team Building strategies that help individuals help create a collaborative atmosphere at the workplace
  • Dealing with different kinds of difficult people
  • Understand the various methods and strategies available to deal with intra group and inter group conflicts
