AIMA is organizing the 5th edition of its flagship annual event – The National Leadership Conclave – on 09 April, 2019 at the Durbar Hall, Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. The National Leadership Conclave is a thought leadership platform which brings together various stake holders for constructive dialogue on the way forward for the Indian economy and the well-rounded growth of the nation.

The theme of the Conclave this year is “Now or Never: India’s Mission for the New Decade”

The time for celebrating India’s potential is running out. The world is in a churn and the ongoing disruption in the global economy and politics will create a new world order. It is now or never for India to settle its claim as a super economy and an influential global leader. The country needs to sort out its ambitions and abilities quickly and it needs to make every citizen a stakeholder in those priorities. India cannot rely on the economy taking its own course to create jobs for its millions of young citizens, to raise the living standards of all its people, to become a creator of new knowledge and technology and to ensure sustainable growth. India also cannot guarantee its internal and external freedom without cranking up its soft and hard power. What India does in the next decade will determine whether it fulfils its undoubted potential or it ends up regretting missed opportunities.

Like previous years, the Conclave will bring together India’s top leadership from politics, business and intelligentsia to answer the key questions about India’s capabilities and challenges and to chart a map for the country to move towards its aspirations quickly and strongly.

Some of the speakers confirmed to address the Conclave include Sanjiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Finserv; Sanjiv Mehta, Chairman & Managing Director, Hindustan Unilever Ltd; Sanjiv Singh, Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation; Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, Hero Enterprise; Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman & Managing Director, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd; Harsh Pati Singhania, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, JK Paper Ltd.; T Krishnakumar, President India & Southwest Asia, Coca-Cola India; Anubhav Nath, Director, Ojas Art; Bindu Subramaniam, Singer, Song-writer, Educator and Cofounder SaPa in Schools; and Sheetal Gautam Karajgi, Social Entrepreneur and CEO, Maharogi Sewa Samiti amongst others.
