14th National Competition for Young India, 24th November 2017, New Delhi

The 14th National Competition for Young India was held on the theme ‘Our Idea and Action Plan for a Developed India’. The Regional Rounds were held at Bhubaneswar on 3rd November, 4th November at Bangalore, 10th November at Mumbai and 17 & 18 November at New Delhi. The Grand Finale was held on 24th November, 2017 at New Delhi. The Jury was chaired by Col Sunil Chandra, Vice President, Sujan Luxury Hotels. The other Jury members were Mr. J K Mehta, Regional Manager (South Asia), World Energy Council & Secretary General, South Asia Forum for Energy Efficiency, Mr Rajdeep Sahrawat, Head-International Business (Public Sector), Tata Consultancy Services and Lieut. Rita Gangwani, (Former Officer-Indian Army), Personality Development Mentor. 85 teams from across the country participated in the competition. Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship emerged as the National Champions & Runners Up - I. Indian School Business and Finance were II Runners-up. Award for the Best Budding Manager was given to Ms Pankhuri Bhasin of Indian School Business and Finance, New Delhi

The 13th National Competition for Young India was held on the theme " Breaking Through: Making India a Creative Superpower ". The Regional Rounds started with Bangalore as the first location on 16th Nov, followed by 24th Nov in Mumbai, 28th Nov New Delhi , 30th Nov Hyderabad and 3rd Dec Chennai. This year we saw participation of more than 100 teams across the locations. The Grand Finale was held on 6th Dec 2016 at Hotel Claridges New Delhi. The Jury at the finale was chaired by Col sunil Chandra, Director Sujjan Luxury Hotel. The other Jury Members wereMr Rajdeep Sahrawat Head-International Business (Public Sector)Tata Consultancy Services, Mr J.K.Mehta Secretary General ( SAFEE) Regional Manager ,World Energy Council and Mr Sachin Kapoor Chief Operating Officer Brands of Desire. The Chief guest at the finale was Prashanth Sharma , Head Talent Management – Uflex Ltd.

Team from Institute of Public enterprise Hyderabad (IPE) represented by Jwala Varalini and Kavyasree Kolluru emerged as the National Champions, Sharmil and Sheetal Nanjappa representing XIME Bangalore were the 1st Runners up & IES Mumbai represented by Sholoka Nayak and Kanishka Dasgupta were the 2nd Runners-up. The Best Budding Manager was given to Kavya of IPE Hyderabad.

The 12th National Competition for Young India was held on the theme 'MAKE IN INDIA- Enabling Supportive Ecosystem'. The Regional Rounds were held at Mumbai on 3-4 September; at Bangalore on 10-11 September; at Kolkata on 15 September & New Delhi on 17 -18 September. The Grand Finale was held on 23 September, 2015 at New Delhi. The Jury was chaired by Col Sunil Chandra, Vice President, Sujan Luxury Hotels. The other Jury members were Mr. Prabhat Sinha, Founder CEO of SMG Community Ventures for Best Global Advantage; Mr. Kanwal Krishen Muthu, President, Corporate Consultancy Services & Visiting Professor, Fore School of Management; Dr. G Ganesh Das, Head of Department Strategy & Business Relations, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited & Mr. J K Mehta, Regional Manager (South Asia), World Energy Council & Secretary General, South Asia Forum for Energy Efficiency. A number of 97 teams from across the country participated in the competition. Indian School of Business emerged as the National Champions. Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management were the I Runners up and Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship were the II Runners-up. Award for the Best Budding Manager was given to Ms Shrishti Jain of Indian School of Business, Bangalore.
