Leading Self was the topic of the specially designed training for professionals at leadership roles, held on 18-19-20 December 2019. The training was conducted at the ‘Land of the Seven Pagodas’, a place that prides in being classified as a UNESCO heritage site - Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. Away from the actual work environment, a break from the normal professional routine, the training was an opportunity to explore once distinct identity while learning.

It was an opportunity to increase self-awareness, thus helped solve Paradoxes of leadership. The participants learnt techniques to bounce back from setbacks, remove internal blocks and resistances, recharge their bodies and minds and reclaim a joyful existence.

The training was conducted by an expert faculty, a clinical psychologist and a spiritual coach Dr Pulkit Sharma. The facilitator used a variety of formats to enable participants to become self-aware and experience self-growth, breath work, guided visualization exercises, classroom lectures and presentations, writing and experience sharing. The training participants were from sectors including energy, insurance, construction, manufacturing, information technology, housing finance and academia. The training was interactive and facilitated participants to also learn from each other.
