AIMA Interactive Session
"Leadership by Proxy: The Story of Women in Corporate India"
22nd July 2016 : AIMA, Lodhi Road – New Delhi

Women have played a crucial role in India's corporate success stories without getting the due credit. They have shaped the thinking and actions of celebrated business leaders while staying in the background.

AIMA has invited Ms Poonam Barua, Founder Chairman of Forum for Women in Leadership - WILL Forum India for a talk on the subject, "Leadership by Proxy: The Story of Women in Corporate India". The session will be held on Friday, 22nd July 2016 at the AIMA from 1700 hrs to 1830 hrs.

Ms Poonam Barua has also authored a book on the above said subject, has documented the contribution of invisible women leaders to business outcomes with emphasis on creating a "brave new mindset" in corporate India and businesses worldwide, that will genuinely embrace "balanced leadership" as a true goal of corporate enterprise.

The session shall be a great opportunity to learn about the women who have driven the growth of India and to discuss how women can lead from the front and not just by proxy. I am writing to cordially invite you to take advantage of this unique opportunity by participating and nominating colleagues from your organization at this interactive session.

Registration & Tea/coffee at 1630 hrs.
