The annual National HRM Summit, organized by AIMA, is one of the most prestigious platforms in the management calendar of the country and sees participation by the HR fraternity across Industries.

Internet of Things, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence technologies are paving way for an increased automation in the corporate sector. CIOs, accustomed to outsourcing IT tasks previously conducted in-house to a host of cloud software purveyors, will begin working several more vendors providing AI, robotics, IoT and other solutions that make good business sense for their companies. That will require organizations to realign not just IT processes, data models and rules but also policies into a cohesive platform that can be managed and extended across the business. Automation will advance us away from managing, monitoring and building to brokering. We must help manage the transition for customers, employees, vendors, and partners to new automation technologies.

The pace, nature, and ubiquity of technological change will have significant impact on job availability, access, and quality. Many jobs will be replaced by automation and intelligent robots while new jobs are created and existing jobs take on new and different tasks. Enabling more people to benefit from this era of technological change is in the best interest of business. The new era will be exciting and by automating work tasks, the capacity of workforce may lead to increased business productivity.
