AIMA - Imperial College Conference -To Build Walls or Bridges : The Path to New Economic Nirvana, 23rd June, London

AIMA - Imperial College Conference
To Build Walls or Bridges : The Path to New Economic Nirvana
23 June, 2017: imperial College, London

There is an emerging trend in the world – many want to build walls against trade and foreigners, in some cases literally. After driving free trade and globalisation for decades, many governments are now offering protectionism and sovereignty as a panacea to economic problems and as a vehicle to national greatness. That, despite history suggesting that open and trading nations achieve high economic growth and attract great talent from around the world. We ask if now is a good opportunity for building more bridges to revive growth and create jobs.

AIMA is the national apex body of the management profession in India with a broad base of 66 Local Management Associations including two cooperating LMAs abroad, and membership crossing 30,000 in number. AIMA makes a salutary contribution to management learning and practice in the country by offering various services in the areas of testing, distance education, research, publications and management development programmes.
