21st Student Management Games 2017 - (SMG 2017) , Bangalore & Assam

Management Simulation is a Computer based event that simulates a Business Scenario. It creates an opportunity for the participants to manage a business with multiple functional areas. They get to experience active competition and the perspective to handle it. They take strategic business decisions and see the impact through AIMA’s indigenously developed software, ‘CHANAKYA’. The essence of Management Simulation is ‘Learning by Doing’.

A team of 3-4 members can be nominated by the Institution. Students of MBA, PGDM, Engineering, CFA and equivalent Professional programmes of any college or Institution can participate.

1st Champion Trophy + 40,000/- & Gift Hampers
2nd Runners Up I Trophy + 30,000/- & Gift Hampers
3rd Runners Up II Trophy + 20,000/- & Gift Hampers

Upto 2 Teams (Per Team) : 5000 (incl. of taxes)
3 or more Teams (Per Team) : 4000 (incl. of taxes)

The participation fee is inclusive of GST

The Student Management Games (SMG) popularly known as "Chanakya" is a National Competition for B-schools, organized by All India Management Association (AIMA) annually has been successfully concluded on 31st October at New Delhi this year. AIMA has been conducting this competition from the last 19 years in the country.

The 19th SMG-2015 competition was held in the Northern, Western, Southern Region and an Online Round. "Chanakya" is a computer based simulated game that sensitizes and strengthens business acumen in students where participants are handed over a hypothetical company to run business. A team of 4 students from a Business School form a company and run it in a virtual environment created by Chanakya. This year about 100 teams from approximately 25 B-schools participated in the competition.

19th SMG was sponsored by, Singhad Technical Educational Society, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad.

The venue hosts were PSG Institute, K V Institute, NMIMS, Singhad Institute of Management and IILM
