About All India Management Association (AIMA):

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is the national apex body of the management profession in India. Over the last five decades, AIMA has contributed immensely to the enhancement of management capability in the country. AIMA has a broad base of 66 Local Management Associations including two cooperating LMAs abroad, with a membership crossing 30,000 in number. AIMA is a non-lobbying organisation, working closely with Industry, Government, Academia and students to further the cause of the management profession in India. Programme Outline:

In today's fast paced world companies are looking at candidates having a combination of technical know-how blended with management skills to effectively lay a foundation for their success.

Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management offers a systematic approach towards empowering candidates with in-depth domain knowledge relevant for the Financial Services Industry.

For the Full Programme:
  • Graduation (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognised university/3 years diploma in any discipline
  • Students awaiting final year results may also apply, provided the results are submitted within six months from the date of the admission in the programme

For direct admission to the Term 2:
Post graduate students with Masters in Finance/Commerce can directly enroll for the second Term after clearing an entrance test.
Term 1 would be exempted for students holding Post Graduate/ Professional qualifications like CA, CS, CWA, CFA, etc. To claim exemption, the candidates need to pass a screening test.


For the full programme: minimum 12 months and maximum 24 months.

For the direct admission to the term 2: minimum 6 months and maximum 18 months. Maximum period means that if a student fails in any exam or exams then an additional time period would be available to complete the programmes subject to the maximum period mentioned above.

Programme Evaluation and Examination:

A student enrolled in a programme would be evaluated on the basis of the following parameters in each module:
The examinations and assignments will be a mix of subjective and objective type depending upon the subject.

Programme Features and Pedagogy:

The programme structure and syllabus is as per the current industry requirement and will be delivered through Virtual Class sessions and personal contact sessions. The Virtual Class Sessions would be held at ICFL regional offices in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune and Kolkata. The personal contact point classes would be held only at AIMA, Delhi. The contact sessions would include tutorials, case study presentations and industry interactive sessions.

Sessions that would be offered to the programme participants under each semester for every course are mentioned below:

  • Total duration for the entire programmes: 300 hrs(10courses @ 30 hrs each)
  • Session through virtual class: 220hrs (10 courses @ 22hrs each)
  • Personal contact point sessions at a given location: 80hrs(10coyrses @ 8 hrs each)

ICFL’s Virtual Class:

It is a real-time virtual interactive class where virtual lectures are delivered by the expert faculty from AIMA, industry professionals and academicians of ICFL. The student has a flexibility to attend a programme at his/her convenience from an ICFL location, office or from home through any device (for e.g. desktop, laptop or a hand held device). The student has access to recorded sessions which is subject to necessary approvals. There is a faculty interaction facility via text and video chat.


On successful completion of the programme, a student would be awarded "Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management" by the AIMA in association with the ICFL as an Industry Partner.

Placement Assistance:

Placement assistance will be provided to candidates on successful completion of both the terms.

Programme Details

Month of commencement: The session would commence in the month of January and July every year.
  • Fee for the full programme: Rs 60.000/-per term (plus a service tax @ 15% as applicable)
  • Fee for direct admission to the term 2: Rs. 70,000 (plus a service tax @ 15% as applicable)
