He recalled the past few days, which the Indian delegation had spent visiting the iconic companies in the Silicon Valley, as truly enriching for everyone.

Dr Shashi Tharoor in his charismatic style talked of the soft power that US exercised over the world and how India is similar. He emphasised on the co-existence of soft and hard power but also observed that extending soft power makes the usage of hard power less critical. Mr Vinod Khosla, the celebrated tech entrepreneur in the Silicon Valley observed that innovation prospers outside the domain of established organisations and also that education for children in the present day should be flexible to enable them to absorb and reskill themselves for ever-changing challenges.
