AIMA - R K Swamy High Performance Brand Award
All India Management Association (AIMA) as the national apex body of management profession in the country is committed to enhancing the competence of management profession through its multifaceted activities. Every year, AIMA confers Awards on distinguished and eminent organization / personality who have made outstanding contributions.
AIMA believes that brands are business assets that need to be nurtured, managed, measured and rewarded. To recognize and celebrate the marketing success of a brand, the AIMA council decided setting up of a new award, instituted by R K SWAMY BBDO, the “AIMA- R K SWAMY High Performance Brand Award”.
The R K SWAMY Hansa Group is a leading player in marketing communication in India which puts the performance of brand ahead of other metrics. R K SWAMY BBDO the principal company in the group has come forward to support this AIMA award, in memory of its illustrious founder Sri R K SWAMY.

This award is recognition of a brand’s performance on the ground and not for brands’ recognition, publicity, loyalty or brand equity only.
The award is only for brands created in India, for India and the world and has been in existence for at least three years.
The nominations for the award were called under two categories, Established and Emerging. The brands with turnover of over Rs. 200 crores will be eligible to be nominated and under emerging category, brands with turnover of over Rs. 25 crores but less than Rs 200 crores will be eligible to be nominated.
The performances of the brands were analysed using consumer and financial data. The nominations were called from different sectors across the country. The applications were shortlisted based on conformity to qualifications criteria. The growth of brand via-a-via category growth, Return on Capital Employed and other prescribed eligibility criteria and the information was compiled in form of Dash-boards. The jury members rated each shortlisted nominee on a scale of 0-10 with “0” being the highest possible scores. The key measures were Distinctiveness, Consumer Relevance, Single mindedness, challenges the category and Consistency.

The Sixth AIMA - RK Swamy High Performance Brand Award was conferred upon Yes bank at AIMA's 4th World Marketing Congress held at New Delhi on 10th February 2015
The fifth AIMA - RK Swamy High Performance Brand Award was conferred upon Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (AMUL) at AIMA's 58th Foundation day on 21st February 2014 at New Delhi
The fourth AIMA - RK Swamy High Performance Brand Award was conferred upon Apollo Tyres at AIMA's 3rd World Marketing Congress held in New Delhi on 14-15 February 2013
The third AIMA - RK Swamy High Performance Brand Award was conferred upon Wipro Technologies during AIMA's World Marketing Congress on 2-3 March 2012 at Delhi.
The second AIMA - RK Swamy High Performance Brand Award was conferred upon LIC during AIMA's World Marketing Congress on 4-5 February 2011 at Delhi.
The very first Award was conferred upon State Bank of India on the occasion of inaugural session of AIMA’s Indian Marketing Congress 2010 on 8th February 2010 at Hotel Le Meridian, New Delhi
